One More

Here is one more Easter Picture. It was a beautiful day so we took a picture by the flowers blooming on the Archway. Two out of three kids cooperating was about average for the day's picture taking.

Easter

Easter lunch at Nonna and Pops' House. Wow, how fast the kids grow...especially when I only blog once a year! No, I'm going to try to do better this year.

Kate loves to be outside with all of the big kids. She is SOO close to walking. I can't wait for her to walk because she is a permanent fixture on my hip. But she is so sweet that I don't mind it at all.

Jack and Kate trying so hard to open the wrapping on the Peeps. Did you know that 700 million Peeps are sold during Easter time?! I guess I am the one and only person that doesn't care for the little things. But they are Chris' favorite, so he eats all of mine.

Rebirth of the Blog

Jack LOVES hats! Any kind of hats...here's Uncle Willy's Safari hat. He has to try it on everyone and then put it on himself.

Chris and I never take pictures together. We had to get Madison to take the picture. After about 10 tries she finally got us somewhat centered in the picture!

Madison wrote the Easter Bunny a note asking him to please hide her basket and Jack's too. She helped Jack find his since he is NOT a morning person and was still waking up.

Easter Fun

All the kids dressed for church. Jack loves to goof off for the camera. He always gives his cheesy grin. It cracks us up. We even got to church on time...which is amazing for us!

Madi and Jack had fun seeing what the Easter Bunny brought them.
Chris' mom hosts an Easter Egg hunt every year for some of Madi's friends. It's always a blast and they hid 250 eggs this year for only 8 kids! Their baskets were overflowing! Jack had a lot of fun putting the eggs in his basket.

Kiki & Chase come to Visit

Jack had fun playing with Chase. He loves to be silly and laugh. He make us laugh with his crazy smile.
Kiki And Kate looked so cute with their matching outfits.
Kiki and Chase getting lots of practice with parenting. However, I recommend one at a time (and not spaced a year apart)! All the kids love to have them over.
Jack loves to play Chris' harmonica. He thinks it is so funny that it makes noise if he just breathes into it. He also likes to climb in his chair and make it rock back and forth standing up. It about gives me a heart-attack because it's right by the tile on the fireplace.

Baby Kate

Here's baby Kate! She was born on Feb. 12th and weighed in at 7 lbs. 13 oz. She is so tiny to us compared to Madison and Jack! She is so sweet. We are all so excited that she is finally here.
Madison loves her new sister! She is a huge helper too. She loves to pick out what she is going to wear. She gives her a kiss first thing when she wakes up in the morning.
Jack has had the biggest adjustment of all. But he loves to give her hugs and kisses. He puts his head on her tummy for a hug and his head against hers for a kiss. He even tries to say Kate. It comes out more like "Tate". So far he says Momma, Dad-da, dog, cat, cracka(cracker), and Tate(Kate). He's going to be a good big brother. They are 1 year and 1 week apart in age (Jack's b'day is Feb. 5th)!

Jack's First Birthday

We just had our families over for cake and ice cream for Jack's birthday. He had a great time and got many nice presents. He loves his new big wheel car! It will be perfect for the spring when it warms up a little.
Jack's cake had a blue elephant because he has a blue stuffed animal elephant that he has to sleep with every night.
He loved the cake and ice cream! He didn't even make too big of a mess with it.
He got lots of truck stuff, which was great since our house is full of girly toys. Chris is tired of him playing with Barbies!

Jack loves to play with his daddy! He can't wait for him to come home and ruff him up.

Jack loves to jump around in Kate's crib. Madison and I made the letters for Kate's wall on Saturday. Thanks to my wonderful and talented friend Caroline who gave me the idea. Madison was jealous that Kate's turned out so cute that she is getting some for her room too.

Yeah, an Update!!

Wow, so our computer has decided to let me upload pictures again (after over a year)! I decided to try again since we will be adding yet another little person to the family here soon. We are busy getting ready for the 24-hour chaos that our house will be in for the next several months, if not years. More pictures to come...

Our New Lawyer

Chris graduated Law school in May and we are SOOO proud of him. He is now enjoying being out of school and finally practicing.

Our Fashionista

Madison was asked to be in the Parisian's Fashion Show for their back-to-school fashions. She loved walking down the runway so much that as soon as she was done she asked when she could do it again! I thought of becoming a pagaent mom, but quickly dismissed the idea.

Madison Starts Preschool

Here is Madison leaving for her first day of preschool. She loves going to school and learning and making new friends.

We went to the beach with Chris' famly over Labor Day and had a great time. Madison just loved being in the water whether it was the ocean or the pool. Chris loved catching up on his sleep. I loved wearing my new maternity bathing suit!:) We ate some good seafood and enjoyed the weather not as blasted hot as usual.

We're having a BABY!

To share our most exciting news--we are having a Baby! And it's a BOY! We can not begin to say how elated we are that Madison is FINALLY going to get a sibling. We found out yesterday that it will be a boy-much to Madison's disappointment because she wanted a sister. She is beginning to come to terms with the reality after much crying and saying "I don't want a brother!". She has realized all of the things that she can teach him like how to get dressed, how to eat with a fork and especially the Pledge of Allegance (she learned it in school and recites it daily). We are now just hoping that our house is finished being built by the time the baby comes the beginning of February.

A Blogger At Last

Yep, I've been roped into the blogging world...But only to keep up with my wonderful friends. I just love looking at other people's blogs and seeing what they are up to. This blog will unfortunately, not be very interesting because we don't have much interesting to write about. In any case, our family has fun together and I will thoroughly enjoy writing about the people I love.
